Water Street

This 1920s farmhouse, while incredibly charming in both its essence and location, needed a near-complete interior rebuild. Several late additions felt as disconnected from the home’s flow as they did from its surroundings.

The goal was to redirect the home’s focal point toward the stunning backyard overlooking the stream. To achieve this, we transformed the old, dark kitchen/laundry space into a warm and bright great room with vaulted ceilings and large windows. Custom woodwork, nuanced lighting, and natural stone throughout add depth and character to the otherwise minimalist interiors.

Part of the garage was converted into a small pool house that opens onto a cedar deck with a heated saltwater pool—a true upstate summer haven. We will miss this one.
